Educational purposes only
All content on SteadyAndStrongWellness.com, in our digital guides and printables, on our social media accounts, and in our emails, including text, workouts, meal plans, graphics, and videos, is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
We are not medical providers
Steady & Strong Wellness is not a medical practice, and its founder, Katelyn, is not a physician, nurse, midwife, registered dietitian, physical therapist, or other licensed healthcare professional. Our content is researched from and cited to official guidelines (such as those from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the World Health Organization, and the American Academy of Pediatrics) and peer-reviewed research. However, general information can’t account for your individual health history, circumstances, or needs.
Using our Site or products does not create a doctor–patient, dietitian–client, or any other healthcare provider relationship.
Consult your healthcare provider
Before beginning any exercise, nutrition, or wellness program, including any program we offer, please consult your healthcare provider. This is especially important if you:
- Are pregnant, trying to conceive, or postpartum

- Have joint, bone, or muscle injuries or chronic pain
- Take medications, or plan to start supplements
- Have a history of disordered eating
- Are making decisions for a child or teen, in which case please consult their pediatrician
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or saw from Steady & Strong Wellness. Your provider’s guidance always comes first.
Stop and seek care
Stop exercising and contact your provider if you experience:
- Chest pain, a racing or irregular heartbeat, or shortness of breath before exertion
- Dizziness, faintness, or severe headache
- Calf pain or swelling
- Pain, or any symptom that feels wrong
- During pregnancy: vaginal bleeding, fluid leaking from the vagina, regular painful contractions, or decreased fetal movement
- Postpartum: increased bleeding, pelvic heaviness or pressure, or leaking that worsens with activity
Assumption of risk
All physical activity carries some risk of injury. By choosing to follow any exercise or nutrition content from Steady & Strong Wellness, you acknowledge that you participate voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for using proper form, selecting appropriate weights and intensity, exercising in a safe environment, supervising children, and stopping any activity that causes pain or discomfort. Nutrition information
Nutrition guidance, meal plans, and sample menus are general and may not suit your individual needs, allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions. Our Gestational Diabetes Meal Planner is an organizational and educational tool. It does not replace the individualized plan, blood glucose targets, or medication guidance from your care team. Please check food choices, supplements, and dietary changes with your provider or a registered dietitian.
Mental health
Our mindfulness content is meant for everyday well-being and is not a substitute for mental health care. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or intrusive thoughts during pregnancy or postpartum, please reach out to your provider or Postpartum Support International (postpartum.net). If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, U.S.) or call 911.
No guarantee of results
Everyone’s body, health, and circumstances are different. We make no guarantees about specific outcomes, such as strength gains, pregnancy or birth outcomes, blood sugar levels, or recovery timelines, from using our content or products.
